
According to Helio.com, research shows patients with cancer that are more active after chemotherapy tend to do better. In order to test out this theory further, a study is being undertaken using data from Fitbit Charge HR trackers worn by patients, to gather information on the patients activity levels.
Although, wearing the trackers may actually stimulate patients to move more (something Fitness Tracker users know happens!) the study should still provide interesting insights into how aftercare could be directed to helping patients become more active.
